Introduction to the Series
Welcome to the information page for the Victorian Enduro Series! This series is the combined
efforts of several clubs within the Victorian Mountain Bike community. Working together these
clubs bring you nine races over the 2012 season, all taking place on a different Victorian endurance
race course. Each course offers something different to riders while each race offers the same
great atmosphere that you have come to expect from this series which has become an iconic part of the
Victorian MTB scene.
Enduro racing is a great opportunity to grab your friends and race together in either 2 or 3 person
teams challenging each other’s lap times while enjoying the social side to Enduro racing. If
it’s a hard physical and personal challenge you desire then solo riding is the category for you. Bring
along your friends and family for support as you challenge yourself lap after lap to complete 6 hours
of what is sure to be sensational mounting bike riding.
Now don’t forget this is a series and there are series prizes awarded for all categories down to 3rd
place. See the Enduro series rules section for how prizes work but an important thing to know
is that you have to complete 4 races in the series to be eligible for prizes. You are permitted
to change riders in your team from race to race, however the team name must not change throughout the series.
So get yourself organised and get yourself entered into one or more of these great events.

Enduro Series Rules
Series Rules are only a guide line and it is up to the Club or Race Director on the day
- Protests must be made on the day and within 15 minutes of race finish to the Race Director
- Race Director's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Individual Race Rules
- There must be a minimum of 5 teams/entrants in a category at an event for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to be awarded
- If only 3 teams/entrants are in a category for an event the host club has the right to only award prizes to 1st place
- No matter how many teams are in a category series points are awarded
- All riders in the Triples 40+ team category must be over the age of 40 on race day
- In a team of 2 the minimum number of laps for either team member is 1/3 of the total laps of that team
- In a triples team the minimum number of laps for all team members must be 1/4 of the total laps of that team
Series Rules
- Teams or Competitors must have competed in a minimum of four rounds to be eligible for series prizes
- A Team’s or Competitor’s best 6 rounds count towards series totals
- A minimum of three competitors per category are required for a series category
