After a successful beginning in 2011 the clock2clock Challenge is back for its
second year and we welcome you back to the beautiful Macedon Ranges for more
Mountain Bike fun!
Again the time has come to experience a Mountain Bike Race with a difference in
the Macedon Ranges. We welcome KONA on board as Title Sponsor for 2012.
Starting from the Woodend township, with a choice of 2 distances it’s a race to
suit everyone so take the challenge and see what Woodend has to offer!
35km Race: Ridng up the Mount and then rocketing down the chute will be worth
the effort when you get to the picturesque Mount Macedon Winery feed station.
After coasting down sweet fire trails and flowing through the Pinies singletrack
you will be smiling all the way back to town for the finish.
70km Race: Starting first, with a police escort, it will be a buzz as spectators
see you ride out of Woodend. The 70km racers will be treated to all of the above
but double the amount completing 2 laps.
This race is not only for Mountain Bikers wanting a challenge but for the people
that come along for the trip to see the town and what it has to offer.
Bring the family because this race will have the support of the local Woodend
community. Vouchers to cafes will given away to make the wait for friends
and family supporting their riders more enjoyable. Heaps of awesome prizes
for the class place getters. Random giveaways throughout the event
including a KONA bike.
